Building Consumer app is hard!
building a consumer app is hard… really hard.
fomo has always tried to do things the right way. unfortunately, that often means sacrificing the little guy to enrich the same wolves who profited from previous cycles.
we’ve never been afraid to do the evil thing, such as:
offering onchain criminals a seat at our seed round.
lying to our investors about our metrics and fabricating data.
making sure the little guy never gets a paycheck from us.
paying lifestyle larps / vloggers like Orangie and Brezscales six figures a month to lie on video an farm their followers.
virtue signaling while platforming questionable actors and extracting millions in fees.
we try everything to make sure users are trapped in an endless cycle of winning and losing while our own sponsors bleed them dry.
we believe in rewarding those who provide value. preferably those who were already rich, well-connected, and are part of our inner-circles.
we don’t get everything right. truthfully, we don’t care.
as long as we can keep convincing everyone that we’re the good guys, we’ll keep printing.
good things take time. great grifts take a false messiah.
