Why we publish a rights register

One public page per company: legal entity, trademark numbers, copyright registrations and the person who handles notices.

No.

When you find your work copied, the first hour goes on finding facts: who owns the other site, where the company is registered, whether that logo is a registered mark, who receives legal notices.

We publish those facts in one place.

One record, one address

Each company in the register gets a permanent number and a page at cpydigital.com/copyright/ followed by that number. The page lists:

  • The legal entity: registered name, entity type, jurisdiction, registration and tax numbers.
  • Trademarks: office, application and registration numbers, Nice classes, status and renewal dates, each linked to the office's own record.
  • Registered copyright works, with their registration numbers.
  • Domains the company controls.
  • The DMCA or legal-notice contact, and the licensing contact.

How a record is checked

Our editors compare each entry with the issuing office or company registry before marking it verified. A record shows its verification state and the date of its last review. When an office record changes, the link on our page takes you to the current version at the source.

Getting listed

Companies can ask to be added or to correct a record through our contact page. We do not charge for listing.

Register entries are informational. The issuing office's record is the authority.
